Mother. This word fills us with an emotion that is so familiar, so close to us, that we inadvertently pick up our phones and call our mothers, and tell them how much we love them. We might be far, far away, where we don’t see our mothers every single day, but one moment in a cinema, and we are reminded of those times when we were fed by her, taken care of when we were too sick, or even the times when she saved us from the wrath of our fathers. We know, we exist because of mothers, and we might not show it every single day, deep down, they are the first person we love.
From the dawn of the century, mothers have been powerful figures, not only in reality, but also in books, movies, dramas, and kingdoms. The children are ruled by her laws, and a father might bring in the cash, it’s always the mother who would be the one ensuring that there is food on the plate not just today, but tomorrow as well. They are doctors, guards, chartered accountants, lawyers and judges themselves when it comes to their family.
Not just humans, even animals have the concept of mothers taken up in a similar way. Try to steal or mess with a cub of a tiger, and you wouldn’t be alive. Mess with your own pet’s newborn, and she would forget you are her best friend. A mother’s love is unparalleled, simply because she has given you birth, she has fed you for nine months inside her, and for the rest of the life amidst everyone else.
It’s a sad travesty that most of us don’t understand their value until they are no more, and we don’t know, how to live anymore.
Mothers are amazing psychics too. I personally have experienced troubles whenever I haven’t listened to her. To this day though, I can highlight one bad thing that has happened to me when I did listen to her. This is the power of a mother. She knows you better than you know yourself, and at the end of the day, she is the one you would go to, when you have a problem, no matter how successful you are.
Mothers are emotional too. Well, most of them are. They would never bear her children getting hurt, and why should she? Would you bear if someone hurt something that you loved more than your life? Definitely not. She is the first person you see, the first person you come to when you have matters of the heart, the first person you complain to, and the first person who is proud of you when you do something good; the first person who would be praying for your success and the first person who would give her life to your welfare and well being.
